Rockmelon is for Teachers
Helping you, help your students
Children with a developmental delay often require a little bit more help than their neurotypical peers to reach their best outcome. As a Teacher, you play a huge part in their success, especially at school.
By joining a Team, you can access a huge range of evidence-based methods and strategies to help you learn how to best teach a student with a developmental delay.
The Parent Edition also provides families with a way to keep in touch with the people integral to their child’s growth – and one of those people is you!

I’ve learnt more in the past 5 weeks about children on the spectrum than I have in my entire teaching career. I’m excited by the potential of products like the Parent Edition. It’s great to be able to help the parents in such a direct and positive way.
Better communication with families
The Rockmelon Parent Edition allows parents and carers to communicate more effectively with the people in their Team.
Who is on a Team? Well, it depends on each family’s individual situation, but usually, a Team will be made up of the parents or carer, various health professionals and therapists, teachers and anyone else who plays a primary part in a child’s growth and development.
The Parent Edition helps ensure everyone is always on the same page, working from the same schedule and focusing on the same goals.
Improve your understanding
One subscription gives access to a whole Team, including access to all of our premium content. Rockmelon Skills are a library of evidence-based, interactive learning modules which showcase a range of strategies and methods parents and carers can use to best teach a child with a developmental delay.
From managing day-to-day behavioural challenges to teaching key independence skills, there’s always something new to learn. Plus, new Skills are added weekly!
Help track the progress of students
Rockmelon helps families track their child’s progress and ensure that every aspect of their learning is on the right track.
Once a child starts daycare or more formal schooling, a lot of their time is now spent in the care of a teacher.
Quick Notes allows you to share updates with a child’s family and report back on their activity that day. Plus it works both ways! If a child hasn’t had much sleep that night and it might have a flow on effect at school, Team allows parents to let you know in advance.
